On August 18, 2025 I was taken to the Huntsville Hospital by ambulance from a fall the night before. EMS were so kind and understanding to me, yes they asked a lot of questions but they had to and then they had to carry me up 15 flight of stairs..ohh myyy but they did it.
Then they loaded me into the ambulance and off to the hospital I went and they constantly were checking on me my vitals and didn’t leave me at all. The staff in emergency were also outstanding always checking on me as well..I can’t explain in words how grateful I felt from my care from the nurses to the Doctors and beyond.
I had to stay in the hospital until August 28, 2025 then I came home and then Closing the Gap took over and all the equipment that I needed was brought to my home, wheelchair walker everything supplied to me no questions asked..I had a PSW coming twice a week as well as occupational therapist, nurses and they constantly were checking on me to see if I needed anything and physiotherapy working with me. I had this service until the end of October..I can’t say enough about all the care I received and everyone went beyond to make sure I was doing well..thank you from the bottom of my heart that this was available to me.
It was along road from the beginning to me being able to walk unassisted which I can now do without any problems I just have to be careful..this is a wonderful program that we have here in Huntsville…
Thank you again
