Huntsville public works crew explains snow clearing process as more accumulation expected

From the Town of Huntsville

The Town of Huntsville Public Works team continues to actively clear roadways and sidewalks and is prepared for continued incoming snow accumulation and snow squalls today – December 4, 2024.

Current weather forecasts indicate that some areas of Huntsville could see up to 60cm of snow by end of day today. As a reminder to residents, Huntsville plowing crews’ focus is clearing snow on primary roads in urban high traffic areas, followed by secondary routes in rural areas. Please be advised that crews are out and remember to please keep sidewalks and roads clear of parked cars to give our plows and equipment room to operate.

Town of Huntsville Customer Service is available to you if you have road-related concerns. Residents can call the Town of Huntsville at 705-789-1751 and press 2 or report a non-emergency concern online by visiting Huntsville.ca.
