Huntsville OPP make arrests in two separate domestic incidents

On November 13, 2024, Officers were dispatched to an address on Main Street West due to reports of a male yelling that he was going to “kill his girlfriend.”

Officers arrived on the scene to find a male yelling in his upstairs apartment. Officers formed reasonable grounds to arrest the male for mischief, uttering threats, and breach of probation.

A 35-year-old male, of Huntsville, Ontario, has been charged with:

  • Uttering Threats – Cause death or Bodily Harm
  • Fail to Comply with Probation Order
  • Mischief – destroys or damages property

The accused was held for a Bail hearing and remanded into custody.

The accused is to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Bracebridge Ontario on November 18, 2024.

On November 14, 2024, at 9:21 p.m., officers were again dispatched to an address on Susan Street to a report of a male yelling that he was going to “kill his girlfriend.”   The investigation revealed the accused was in violation of court order.

A 40-year-old male of Huntsville, Ontario, was charged with:

  • Failure to comply with release order
  • Fail to Comply with Probation Order

The accused was held for a Bail hearing and remanded into custody.

The accused is to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Bracebridge Ontario on November 18, 2024.
