This type of behaviour is not new. Bullies and the by-stander crowds have been a problem for years. Read Barbara Colloroso’s books and develop an understanding of bullies, the bullied and the role that by-standers have. They are part of the problem!
The parents need to be part of the solution. Teaching your child to do what’s right! Not what’s popular. I can’t help but wonder if the populist political phenomena is an extension of what’s been going on for years in schools and communities.

I agree that it is very disturbing that the people cheering the accused on have no consequences. I am thankful that the OPP has taken action to protect the victim and really hope the court does the same. Enough is enough.

  3. William Kidd says:

Does anyone else find it disturbing that no one in the group that was watching and supporting the accused was arrested? I wonder if the accused would have attacked anyone if he was alone.

Wouldn’t it nice if there was consequences for actions in our court system. What if anything is going to happen when this case gets to court.

    Thank you, Huntsville OPP officers.
