On March 16, 2019 at approximately 1:20 a.m., Huntsville Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to report of an armed robbery that just occurred at a business located on King Willam Street in Huntsville.
On March 15, 2019 at approximately 1:20 am, Huntsville Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to report of an armed robbery that just occurred at a business located on King Willam Street in Huntsville
Two suspects entered the business brandishing weapons. The employee of the business was assaulted by the two suspects before they fled the scene. The employee was transported to hospital by Muskoka EMS to receive treatment for non-life threatening injuries.
Police located and arrested the involved suspects a short time later.
The Muskoka Crime Unit, Forensic Identification Services (FIS), Emergency Response Team (ERT), Canine Unit, and the Tactics and Rescue Unit (TRU) assisted in the investigation.
Tatum OGDEN (male – 32 yrs) of Toronto is charged with:
- Possession of Imitation Weapon for Dangerous Purpose – Sec 88 CC;
- Robbery Using a Firearm Sec 344(1)(a.1) CC;
- Assault Cause Bodily Harm – Sec 267(b) CC;
- Possession Schedule I substance – Cocaine – Sec 4(1) CDSA;
- Obstruct Peace Officer – Sec 129 (a) CC;
- Failing to Comply with Recognizance X2 – Sec 145(3) CC
Jordan MORROW (male – 28 yrs) of Toronto is charged with:
- Possession of Imitation Weapon for Dangerous Purpose – Sec 88 CC;
- Robbery Using a Firearm Sec 344(1)(a.1) CC;
- Assault Cause Bodily Harm – Sec 267(b) CC;
- Fail to Comply with Probation Order Sec 733.1(1) CC
Sukhpreet SINGH (female -24 yrs) of Brampton is charged with:
- Possession of Imitation Weapon for Dangerous Purpose – Sec 88 CC;
- Robbery Using a Firearm – Sec 344(1)(a.1) CC
All three accused were held in custody for a bail hearing scheduled before the Ontario Court of Justice on March 17, 2019.
