Local lacrosse players made community members proud at the Jack Bionda shootout held at the Canadian Summit Centre last weekend.
Both the Jack Bionda and Don Lough floors were busy with the 21 B/C division lacrosse teams from across Ontario in the U9, U11, U13, and U15 age groups.
The tournament started at noon on Friday, June 9 and ended on Sunday at 4 p.m.
Huntsville’s Minor Lacross U9-1 team took home gold in the finals against the Newmarket Redbirds with a score of 11-6 and the U15 team took home silver in the finals against West Durham with a score of 10-2!
