Huntsville has plenty of activities to get you moving this winter

You will not want to miss this winter season at the Canada Summit Centre, Algonquin Theatre, Muskoka Heritage Place and the Huntsville Public Library. Discover programs, activities and events for December, January and February in the new digital Art, Culture and Recreation Winter Guide and register for your favourite programs starting December 15 at 8:30 am online or in-person at the Canada Summit Centre.

2022 & 2023 Winter Highlights:

Holiday programs include a variety of family crafts, public skating and swimming. Holiday public skating is free to the community thanks to our generous sponsors: Bullock’s Independent Grocer, Kim Preston and Tom Harsanyi Re/Max Professionals North Brokerage, Muskoka411 News, Harvest Church, Graydon Smith MPP, Kawartha Credit Union, Chestnut Park Real Estate Ltd. Brokerage and All Ontario Recycling.

New this winter in programming, are plenty of leisure activities and programs to keep you active and social. Program highlights include adult registered fitness classes such as yoga, salsa, TRX and step and sculp as well as co-ed volleyball. For Youth there are plenty of day camp options for winter holidays, PA days and march break as well as comic book drawing, running and sports.

New this winter for arts and culture, are family craft days at Muskoka Heritage Place and the Active Living Centre as well as plenty of holiday events. Enjoy the festive Portage Flyer Christmas, and a variety of performances and films at the Algonquin Theatre such as Matt Dusk Sing Sinatra, Muskoka Rock Choir, Buffy Sainte-Marie, Banff Mount Film Festival and more.    

Please note, that some programs, especially swimming, camps and fitness programs fill up fast. Don’t be disappointed, ensure you have an online registration account, and know what programs you wish to participate in prior to the registration date.
