We look forward to a memorable evening and hope you will join us,” says Melissa Polischuk, Fund Development & Public Relations Coordinator.
Brewing for a Cause
Hospice Huntsville is excited to announce the return of a very special brew. This week, Canvas Brewing Company will be canning the exclusive craft beer “Haskap Harvest Kolsch”. Canvas will be donating a portion from every Haskap Harvest Kolsch product sold to Hospice Huntsville. New this year, Canvas will also be selling this exclusive brew on tap and donating a $1.00 from every pint sold.
“The Haskap Harvest Kolsch is a fruity twist on our classic Original Brew. The Haskap berry is a northern superfruit with notes of blueberry sweetness and cranberry tartness. We infused our Original Kolsch-style ale with the extract of the haskap berry to create a brew with a bready and fruity sweetness and a slightly tart crisp finish. Canvas is so excited to be a part of this fundraiser and we hope you enjoy this beer as much as we enjoyed making it.” Head Brewer, Seguin Sailors

About Hospice Huntsville
“Sharing The Journey”
Hospice Huntsville is dedicated to providing compassionate end-of-life care for community members facing life-limiting illnesses. The organization provides extended support for family members/caregivers. Hospice Huntsville has been providing palliative care support to our community since 1989. Our visiting volunteer program provides bedside support in our client’s homes, Algonquin Grace Hospice Residence or at the hospital. This service will allow family and caregiver respite. Grief and bereavement program supports family and caregivers after their loved one has died. Algonquin Grace Hospice Residence welcomed their first hospice residents in January 2012. The beautiful five bed facility provides 24-hour professional, compassionate nursing and personal support. To date, Hospice Huntsville/Algonquin Grace has cared for more than 1,000 families in our community.
Hospice Huntsville is a registered charity that relies on community support to raise approximately 50% of their annual operating costs; in order to offer programs and services at no charge to residents and their families.
