You don’t need to be an artist to enjoy what’s going on at the Culture Station at Signal North Gallery during March break. Nine local artists are offering eight very different opportunities for people from 10 to 100 to explore their creativity.
Try out a funky drawing technique called Zentangle, make a watercolour out of wool, carve a stone sculpture, quilt a landscape, or try your hand at portraits, watercolours or fluid inks. There’s even a bonus workshop where you can drum to your heart’s content. Take one workshop, a handful or try them all – they are offered individually or in packages of three or six days.
The workshops are offered March 14 to 19 from 9:30am to 4:30pm. Click on the links below to learn more about the instructors and stop in to Signal North Gallery from Wednesday through Saturday prior to March break to see their work on display.
