Seungah Kim was killed last night (March 10) when she was struck by a car on Brunel Road. A friend has set up a GoFundMe campaign to help the family pay funeral costs and an account has been set up at TD Canada Trust to accept funds in trust for the family as well. Donations can be made at any branch to account 6343528 2664.
UPDATE: Just eight hours into the GoFundMe campaign, $16,845 had been raised to pay funeral costs and support the family.
Gloria Schimmel wrote on the GoFundMe page:
“Mike Talbot lost the love of his life last night, Seunagh Kim, due to a tragic traffic accident. If there is ever a need for a Gofundme campaign this is it. Mike needs help to pay for the funeral of his beloved wife. Mike has worked so hard to provide for his family and could well use the support of his friends and community during this difficult time. He is unable to afford the cost of a funeral.
“Timing is of the essence as arrangments need to be made right away. Every little bit will help this wonderful man and their daughter.
