UPDATE (August 22): OPP released this morning that one person has been arrested in connection with this incident. The investigation continues. Read the details here.
Just before 1:00pm today (August 21), OPP were notified that a person had been injured by a firearm and transported to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Officers arrived at the scene on Main Street W to take statements from people in the area. The OPP canine unit, forensic investigation unit and Muskoka Crime Unit were on scene to conduct an investigation.
No one is under arrest at this time. The police investigation continues.
