Join organizers of the Etwell Concert Series on New Year’s Eve as “the baddest band in the land “, the Weber Brothers Band, headlines at the Legion on December 31. Tickets are $30 and include a light night snack. Tickets can be purchased at the Record Shoppe, Music on Main, or the Legion.
On Sunday afternoon, Dec 11, the House of Hamill, a Celtic act out of Philadelphia, performed to a sold-out crowd at the Huntsville Legion. We are so lucky to live in a community that continues to come out and pay to see live music and support touring and local musicians. It’s an environment that doesn’t exist in the big city. In conversation after the show, Brian and Rose talked about not often performing in places like Toronto, NYC or even Nashville, and getting the majority of their work in smaller towns. It’s hard for musicians to get gigs in the big city that pay enough to even cover their expenses. We live in a wonderful place. A place where we get to see such genuine talent and they get to drive away with more than expense money in their pockets.
