Ethan Murdy, Logan McKnight return for inaugural Muskoka Cup 22U Junior Championship

The Muskoka Hornets invite baseball fans to attend the inaugural Muskoka Cup 22U Junior Championship featuring the Newmarket Hawks against the defending National Champion Oshawa Legionaires in a doubleheader.

The Hawks are led by two Muskoka Hornets alumni, Logan McKnight from Port Sydney and Ethan Murdy from Huntsville, both now playing varsity baseball at university in Ontario.

Junior baseball is played throughout Canada each summer by college players who return to their local communities to keep sharp and compete against top peers in the country.

The Muskoka Hornets are pleased to be able to host such high-level baseball competition and feature two of Muskoka’s top players in the history of the Hornets program.

The games will be played on Saturday, July 17, 2021 at 1:00 and 3:30 p.m. at the McCulley Robertson diamonds.

Admission is free. Every attendee must complete active screening and follow social distance rules while in attendance.
