Elm Street to close for water and sewer installation

Elm Street from West Road to John Street will be closed for water and sewer installation.

The work is scheduled to begin on September 23 at 7 a.m. and finish on September 25 by 5 p.m.

The road will remain open to local traffic only.

    Are there any Elm trees left in Huntsville, even on Elm Street?
    I see one or two on Hwy 60 heading out of town but that is about it.
