Dear MP Scott Atchison,
A few weeks ago you met with constituents who had gathered many signatures on a petition asking for Parliament to form a Citizens Assembly to look into possibilities of electoral reform.
You seemed to understand the benefits of moving our electoral system away from dangerous partisan politics such as we see south of our border, to a more cooperative system, and one which might attract more voter participation!
However you, along with all Conservatives with the exception of two, chose to block even the possibility of change by voting no. Your action of following the flock is extremely disappointing.
Could you please explain to me why you voted against this idea?
This issue will only become bigger until all parties recognize the need, and desire for change and allow a Democratic review of our electoral system by a Citizens Assembly.

Would it be safe to say that Paul’s letter points out hypocrisy from our Conservative MP?
Scott, are you familiar with this story?
Evidently 25 plus men, on several occasions have been indiscriminately fire weapons of all types of of a bridge in Muskoka.
You can see in the video an hand gun and as well one guy fires 9 shots in the air. Meaning it is an illegal firearm.
The have video, names and license plates yet nothing in the news. Clearly Trump was right. Canada is host to sleeper cells.

Hopefully you can raise awareness. They are preparing for something.

Sad to say, but like all politicians, once elected, he takes orders
only from the leader not the constituents/voters.
We get to make suggestions and a little noise for 4 years.
Paul, I don’t think you’re getting an answer.
