Christmas shopping downtown Huntsville, in the mid-1970s. It appears parking was at a premium on the main street back then as well, writes page administrator Kelly McCaw. Cars were a lot bigger back then. Which businesses do you remember from the 1970s?

    The building to the left was Easton’s. Who remembers Ray
    Porter dressed as Santa Claus listing to all the kids give the their lists. Easton’s was the big deal in little Huntsville for a couple of generations
