The 33rd annual 2025 Dorset Snowball Winter Carnival takes place Friday, Feb. 14 and Saturday, Feb. 15!
The Dorset Snowball Winter Carnival, known to most simply as Snowball, was created by the volunteer committee for the Dorset Recreation Centre in 1991 as a community event and fundraiser for the Centre. Snowball takes place on the Friday and Saturday of Family Day Weekend each year and has grown from an event attended mostly by Dorset residents to one attended by more than 1,000 people from all over Ontario.
Snowball is organized and run by an incredible team of volunteers, without whom the event would not be possible. Thank you to everyone who helps to make Snowball such a wonderful occasion. The main focus of Snowball is to provide affordable family-oriented entertainment, to make Dorset a “destination,” and to bring the community together for a day filled with winter activity and fun.
