In loving memory of David (Dave) Gordon Rouse, who God called home, with family by his side, on October 25th, at Huntsville District Memorial Hospital.
Dave Rouse of Huntsville, in his 64th year, was born on September 3rd, 1961 in Galt (Cambridge) Ontario. Dave grew up in Galt and spent the majority of his earlier life with his family in Woodstock, ON. He spent his later and newly retired life with his family in Huntsville, ON.
Cherished husband of Janice Rouse, Beloved father of Matthew Rouse and his wife Tara. Also, beloved father of Mark Rouse and Brandon Rouse. Loving grandfather of Eileigh and Grayson. Loving brother-in-law to Rick Morrow and Loving Uncle to Leah and Shawna Morrow.
Dave was a Godly man who loved his family dearly. Dave enjoyed golfing when could find the time. He loved fishing in his boat with his family and friends. It always brought a smile to his face when others caught a fish, especially his grandchildren.
Dave had a generous and caring heart, who always put others before himself. He was always willing to help anyone in need. One of many scriptures he held dear to his heart, was John 3:16.
In his younger years, Dave enjoyed coaching numerous soccer teams in Woodstock and Brantford ON.
Predeceased by his parents Bob and Arlene Rouse.
Dave was diagnosed with metastatic prostate cancer in early May of 2024. Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or Faith Baptist Church in Huntsville, would be greatly appreciated.
