Two COVID-19 cases reported in Huntsville Dec. 14

 

Today, the Simcoe Muskoka District Health Unit (SMDHU) reported two new cases of COVID-19 in the Huntsville area—an 80-plus-year-old male and an 80-plus-year-old female, both close contacts of another case.

Of the 34 confirmed cases in Huntsville to date, six are active and none are currently in hospital.

There have been a total of 111 cases in Muskoka to date (eight of them currently active) and 2,590 in Simcoe County. (For a full list of Huntsville and Lake of Bays cases to date, and other COVID-19 updates for the area, visit our COVID-19 page.)

Simcoe Muskoka was moved into the red “control” level of the province’s COVID-19 response framework on December 14.
