While appointments are strongly encouraged, the Simcoe Muskoka District Health Unit (SMDHU) has said community clinics will accept walk-ins IF they are able to accommodate anyone needing:
- first or second dose for those 12 years of age or older
- first dose for those children 5 to 11 years of age
- a booster dose for those who are at least 84 days from their second dose and are 18 years of age or older.
Walk-ins are only available for residents of Simcoe Muskoka and must show proof of residency at the clinic.
As per provincial direction, Pfizer will only be provided to those under 30 years of age due to the current supply issues.
Individuals are encouraged to dress for the weather as they may be required to wait outdoors.
Bring a health card, a list of medications and any assistive devices you may require (walkers, canes, etc.).
