Craft brews, good eats, live music, fun-loving people all along the Muskoka River: it doesn’t get much better than that.
All of these amazing experiences will be featured at the Muskoka 2/4 Craft Beer Festival on May 21 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. in Downtown Huntsville’s River Mill Park.
After two long years, which felt like a lot more, the Beer Festival is back to delight the tastebuds and
other senses.
“We can’t wait to kick off the summer with you on May 21,” says Kelly Haywood, executive director of the Huntsville/Lake of Bays Chamber of Commerce. “We’re extremely excited to have the Beer Festival back and it’s time for us to get back together and celebrate at this great event.”
Eleven craft beer vendors from across Ontario will be there to share their flavourful concoctions.
Breweries on tap include Bancroft Brewing Co.; Barnstormer Brewing & Distilling Co.; Canvas Brewing Co.; The George Brewing Co.; Georgian Bay Spirit Co.; Lake of Bays Brewing Co.; Muskoka Brewery; Redline Brewhouse; Sawdust City Brewing Co.; Trestle Brewing Co.; and Underground Brewing.
But what is a good drink without food that matches the taste? For that reason, the Festival will feature a
handful of delightful food vendors.
The Banger, with their famous sausage of the same name; The Crepe Sisters, which need no
explanation; while you’re grabbing a drink from The George Brewing Co. tent, you’ll also want to try out
their pub fare and smoked meats; Marigold Unique Flavours and their sumptuous dishes featuring
Indian, Thai and Indo-Chinese cuisine; Smokin’ Hot BBQ with all their fan favourites; and Sugarnuts Mini Donuts to satisfy that sweet tooth.
With food and beverage in hand, it’s time to hear good tunes. Those visiting won’t be disappointed with two stages offering live music all day from nine amazing local performers and bands.
“Not much can beat a full day of good brews, yummy food, wonderful music and fun people,” says Haywood. “We look forward to seeing you there.”
The event runs from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. and admission is $20. Purchase tickets online in advance here to receive a complimentary festival mug and three beer coupons.
As an added bonus, Huntsville’s Canvas Brewing Co. will also be hosting the Festival Afterparty event at their taproom with live entertainment by Lindsay Brohan playing your fave tunes from the ’90s and 2000s. Admission is $5. The doors open at 7 p.m. with the event kicking off at 8 p.m.
