Canadian Tire adds 10,000 square feet to its store

Huntsville’s Canadian Tire is finally finished renovating its store and if you haven’t had a chance to visit, you probably should.

The store has expanded its space to include an additional 10,000 square feet.

“I’d like to thank Canadian Tire for making this investment in Canadian Tire Huntsville!” said Canadian Tire dealer Ian McEwen.”We are very pleased with the new look and extra space in our store.”

McEwen said the next steps will include building the new gas bar across the road. “All that is left is building the new CT Gas Bar across the road, once that is done, CT will decommission the existing Gas Bar and then build our new Garden Centre where the existing Gas Bar is now,” adding that while he’s not yet sure of the timeline, for now, the temporary garden centre will be in Canadian Tire’s parking lot.

McEwen said staff members have been amazing throughout the renovations.

“We are very proud of our team – everyone worked so hard to bring the store to where it is today. It was a huge challenge but the staff all came together to get the job done,” he said.
