Cadets honour the fallen at the Huntsville cenotaph

Members of the 844 Norseman Royal Canadian Air Cadet Squadron perform the solemn duty at the Huntsville cenotaph, leading up to the community Remembrance Day observance ceremony.

Cadets brave the frigid winds of November each year and take their shift at the cenotaph to honour those who never made it home from the battlefield. Cadets will not leave their posts until the ceremony starts, just before 11 a.m. on November 11.

Each year, the community is invited to attend the Remembrance Day ceremony at the Legion cenotaph.

Thank you, 844 Norseman, Royal Canadian Air Cadet Squadron. We appreciate you honouring our fallen military and our veterans. Your dedication to this duty, an all night vigil and the respect you show, does not go unnoticed by our Legion members, and the general public. Lest we forget.
