Wayback Wednesday, sponsored by Jamie Lockwood, broker/owner of Sutton Group Muskoka Realty!

The photo below was posted on Facebook on If you grew up in Huntsville, you’ll remember. We’re not sure of its origin, but it’s a great shot! Do you remember when the liquor store, the A&P, a real estate office, and the laundromat were in the plaza downtown? It was a busy place. In this photo, there appears to be live music or some sort of presentation beside the grocery store.
What other businesses do you remember at this location?

Do you have interesting photos to share of days gone by? We’d love to see them! Email: [email protected]

This photo was taken in the day when customer service was real! At the A+P your groceries were bagged or boxed for you and sent out to your waiting vehicle on a conveyor/rollers. Now customer service is just a word in most cases!
Sunday evenings we had open air church service at the A&P that would probably be the Salvation Army. Band .
An office supply store!
