Bracebridge OPP on the lookout for youths harassing fast food restaurant workers

The Bracebridge Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is investigating several issues involving criminal youth behaviour.

Between Tuesday, January 27, 2026, and February 2, 2026, Bracebridge OPP officers responded to several calls for service from employees at local fast food restaurants who reported being victimized by youths and/or young adults.

According to police, in an attempt to gain free food, the young people were harassing employees at drive-thru windows and in person, and accessed employee areas only to take selfies and create issues for the staff. Further behaviour reported by the team included a group of young adults who had attended a fast food restaurant location and threw pizza at the staff, and engaged in further disturbing behaviour.

The suspects are described as older teens and/or young adults, often driving an older silver Volkswagen car, a black Honda Civic, and a white Lincoln SUV.

This behaviour is criminal in nature, and there are significant consequences for this type of conduct, warn police. Police are asking for anyone with information to call Bracebridge OPP at 1-888-310-1122.
