Bling Your Bra wraps up a successful fundraising year for Golf Fore The Girls

GOLF FORE THE GIRLS wrapped up its season with the final event BLING YOUR BRA at the beautiful Diamond in the Ruff course. Between the two tourneys, 188 women vied for prizes and bragging rights, but it seems that more and more, it’s all about the costumes than the golf. In total, upwards of $35,000 was donated to our Huntsville Hospital Foundation.

The platinum sponsor, Wendy McConnell of Brokerlink Insurance also added colour and fun to the day with her “thing” outfits.

The committee would like to extend its thanks to all of the sponsors and to The Diamond in the Ruff for another exceedingly successful event.

Next year marks the tenth anniversary of promoting breast health and providing funds for women’s health issues. We hope that this will be only the beginning of what has come to be the most ongoing and successful event for women in Huntsville.
