Muskoka Basketball League kicks off new season

The Muskoka Basketball League kicked off its season Sunday night. All eight teams were back in action. From the Huntsville High School gym, the Boone Plumbing Ballers held off the Bracebridge Medical Centre Thunder to win 64-56, and the Raptors 705 Unity Group Financial ran circles around the Rosseau Lake College Timberwolves to win 63-43.

In the Gravenhurst High School gym, the Huntsville Hurricanes overpowered Family Place Restaurant and Pizza to win 88-71, and in double overtime, Clear Lake Brewing Company walked off Fike Masonry on a last-second shot to win 63-60.
