Aliyah Demers is Huntsville’s first baby of 2018

Muskoka Algonquin Healthcare (MAHC) introduced the first baby of 2018 born at Huntsville District Memorial Hospital today.

Aliyah Demers arrived at 6:16 a.m. on Monday, January 1, 2018, weighing 7 pounds, 4 ounces. She was welcomed by parents Matthew Sturgess and Sasha Demers and big sister, nine-year-old Alexis.

Congratulations to the Sturgess/Demers family. Welcome to Huntsville, Aliyah!
