Huntsville Public Library is reaching out for ideas from the community as it updates its strategic plan. Input from the community will build a foundation for the plan, which will be used to guide the library over the next four years. The board and staff are eager to hear not only from the individuals or families who are using the library, they also want to hear from those who have not used its programs, services, or facilities yet.
“We are looking for community members to tell us what they need to make them more resilient, knowledgeable, connected and prosperous, now and into the future,” explains Deb Duce, CEO/Chief Librarian. “We really want to hear their ideas and ask – ‘What is our role in the future of our community?’”
Please take a moment to share your ideas for the future of our library for Huntsville and our surrounding communities – in the branch, online and in the community. A quick survey that asks you want you want, what you like, and what you need is available here. The survey is open until August 15, 2016.
