This Saturday, Hidden Valley Highlands Ski Area (HVHSA) and the Muskoka Zone Ski Patrol will join ski resorts across the country to try to set a Guinness World Record for the most snow angels done at one time.
The event coincides with Canadian Ski Patrol Day and, this year, they’re tying the fun in with Canada 150 celebrations and hope to have 150 or more locations participating across Canada.
It’s not the first time the ski patrol has attempted to break the record, which currently sits at 15,851 snow angels. Last year, they made it more than halfway to that number with 50 locations participating.
To join in the fun, be at the Beginner Hill at HVHSA at 12:30 on Saturday, February 4 to prepare for the 1:00pm world record attempt. Everyone is welcome and no lift ticket is required to participate.
