The Town of Huntsville has reopened to the public with limited services and says its precautionary measures have impacted some of their systems and online applications.
They are asking those needing services from Town Hall to call ahead (705-789-1751) to confirm whether the service they’re looking for can be offered at this time.
Other impacts include:
- Some Staff and Council email addresses continue to be impacted by the Town’s precautionary measures. There may be a delayed response to email communication. If your request is urgent, please reach out to the appropriate party by phone, or you can reach Town Customer Service at 705-789-1751 to direct you to the correct individual.
- The Canada Summit Centre remains open; camp and town programming is operating at that facility. The Algonquin Theatre day camp is also running. Program registration continues to be available, with longer than normal wait times for in-person registration; we thank residents for their patience during this time and encourage online registration if possible.
- The Library continues to be open; please visit huntsvillelibrary.ca for further information on Library services availability.
- Regular updates will be provided regarding this incident, the impact to Town services, and any interim measures being implemented. Residents can stay informed by following the Town of Huntsville’s newsfeed at huntsville.ca, on Facebook and on X (Formerly Twitter).
