Residents are advised that transit fare collection will resume for Huntsville Transit Services on January 1, 2022.
Fare rates will remain the same and can be found at www.huntsville.ca. Bus passes are available for purchase from Town Hall or the Huntsville Public Library. If you need a bus pass prior to January 1, 2022, please plan accordingly with facility holiday hours below:
- Huntsville Town Hall: Town Hall is open daily from 8:30am – 4:30pm. During the holidays, Town Hall will close Friday, December 24 at noon and re-open Monday January 3, 2022 at 8:30am with regular hours of operation.
- Huntsville Public Library: Regular hours of operation can be found at www.huntsvillelibrary.ca. During the holidays, the library is open from 10am to 1pm on Friday, December 24 and Friday, December 31, 2021. Regular hours of operation will resume Sunday January 2, 2022.
Fares had previously been suspended in March 2020 during COVID-19 closures. COVID-19 transit protocols continue to include face masks and physical distancing. For full details of COVID-19 precautionary measures visit www.huntsville.ca.
As a reminder, transit specialized requests are available Monday to Friday from 8am to 5pm with 24-hour notice to the driver. To arrange a modified pickup please call (705) 788-8118.
