The Town of Huntsville says it is continuing to work with experts to investigate and recover from a recent cybersecurity incident.
In a press release today, March 18, the municipality stated that service impacts have been noted for the Algonquin Theatre for the month of March 2024.
The AC/DC Show scheduled for Saturday, March 23, 2024, has been postponed until further notice. At this time, the Town is unable to process exchanges or refunds due to the cybersecurity incident. Updates will be issued through its website and social media channels as they become available.
The following shows are moving forward, with the logistical changes noted below:
- Reel Alternatives Movie – Monday, March 18, 7:00 p.m.
- JJ Dance Showcase – Friday, March 22, 6:00 p.m.
- Breakfast at Tiffany’s – Tuesday, March 26, 7:00 p.m.
- Muskoka Dance Academy Showcase – Thursday, March 28, 7:30 p.m.
There will be no advanced ticket sales for these events. However, tickets can be purchased one hour prior to showtime at the Algonquin Theatre. Tickets are NOT available at the Canada Summit Centre or online. If you have already purchased a ticket, please present your ticket at the door.
The Huntsville Art Society Gallery remains open from Monday to Friday 10:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. and features items from “The Collection”.
Buying tickets for future shows: Moving forward, information on shows will be communicated as it becomes available.
The Town says it is committed to being as transparent as possible regarding this incident and its implications on the community. “This type of incident takes time to investigate and recover from, and we would like to thank the community for their patience,” notes the municipality.
Regular updates will be provided regarding this incident, the impact to Town services, and any interim measures being implemented.
