June is Seniors’ Month and in celebration of the older adults in our community, Chartwell’s Muskoka Traditions and Rogers Cove are sponsoring the Town of Huntsville’s adult and seniors’ drop-in programs for the month. All of the programs will be free of charge for participants.
Most of the drop-in programs are held at the Active Living Centre and include table tennis, wood carving, dominoes, come for cards, and a monthly travel talk.
Participants can also enter a draw for prizes.
The drop-in programs will be on hiatus in July and August, but for the summer the Town is offering a new program for adults called Zoomers with Zip. It’s a social program geared toward active adults 55 years and older with a variety of activities and instruction – think day camp for adults!

Seniors’ month is an annual, province-wide celebration of vibrancy, active healthy aging and celebrates the many contributions seniors make to our community.
