Our transit needs to be assessed. On thursday June 8th i called the wheelchair bus to make arrangement for transportation for my son for Friday June 9th at 1030. I was told there was nothing then only at 830 or 1130. Neither one of these worked. We then called the regular bus which has room for a wheelchair. I asked if they went to the fairgrounds. yes they do but when told that i had a gentleman in a wheelchair we were told that they were not allowed to take a wheelchair.

Most of Downtown Huntsville and most of the restaurants are not accessible for wheelchair. It would be nice if all business owners would look at their entrances to evaluate if a wheelchair could get in.
