Yvonne Hunnakko-Aubichon
We are pleased to announce that Yvonne Hunnakko-Aubichon has accepted the position of Director of Corporate Services and will be starting on Tuesday, April 11, 2017.
Yvonne is a Certified Municipal Officer with eighteen years municipal experience ranging from Deputy Clerk to CAO. Her related experience includes the Township of Springwater, Town of Georgina, Township of Lake Bays and Town of Kearney. Her background has produced a strong foundation in municipal experience and a comprehension of the issues facing municipalities across Ontario. We are excited about Yvonne’s enthusiasm towards municipal government and what she has to offer the Town of Huntsville. Please join us in welcoming Yvonne.

We received 41 applications for the position and 9 applicants had been short-listed. 8 Applicants were interviewed (one applicant declined the interview).
The evaluation criteria was based on education, Municipal Experience managing a significant municipal department specifically in Legislation/Legal or Finance, Proven Leadership Experience, Communication Skills, Budget/Policy/Procedure Experience.
The interview panel consisted of: Lisa Smith – Director of Human Resources/Corporate Information, Deputy Mayor Karin Terziano and Denise Corry – CAO/Clerk
The position was advertised in the Forester, Association of Municipal Clerks/Treasurers of Ontario (AMCTO), Municipal World Job Board, Social Media and the Town Website.
Salary and Employment Details – Full time position. Pay Band from $106,541.81-$118,379.79
