Don’t miss your chance this weekend to see what some very talented local artisans have to offer. Made in Muskoka is open Saturday 10 – 5 and Sunday 10 – 4 at the Anglican Church’s Sutherland Hall, 30 High Street, Huntsville.
Lots of people dropped in Friday night and had a chance to talk to the artisans.
Kelly Holinshead of Shutterbug Gallery chats with Jill Klodnicki. Kelly’s fine art images are created by layering 35mm slide film. In addition to limited edition prints on paper and canvas, she’ll have giftware including tiles, coasters, ornaments, wood blocks and cards, all featuring her distinctive photographic art.
Feature photo: Pam Carnochan’s WOOL ART
Pam’s “watercolours with wool” are inspired by the natural beauty that surrounds her in Muskoka. She dyes wool from her own sheep and creates original landscapes using this unique medium. She also paints watercolour landscapes expressive of her life in the woods and her deep connection to the land.
For more information about the artists, visit the Made in Muskoka website.
