May Marche 2015

There are only a few days left to get May Marché tickets at early bird prices

Where in Huntsville can you sample delicious food from seventeen local restaurants and a selection of fine wine, beer and liquors, all in one night? At the Huntsville Festival of the Arts May Marché, of course.

The principal fundraising event for the Festival for the past 10 years, May Marché also includes an extensive silent auction. There’s live music, too.

It all happens on Friday, May 27 at Grandview’s Mark O’Meara Clubhouse – both the date and the location are new this year. In the past, May Marché was held on the Friday of the May long weekend, but increasingly this date was proving to be a challenge for the many food and beverage suppliers, said the Festival committee, adding “Deerhurst has been an exceptional host these past years but the Marché committee is looking forward to celebrating this year’s event in the beautiful Grandview facility.”

Seventeen food providers have confirmed, seven more than in 2015: Deerhurst Resort, Grandview Resort, Spencer’s Tall Trees, Three Guys and a Stove, Bartlett Lodge, Hidden Valley Resort, On The Docks Pub, Boston Pizza, Mill On Main, Seven Main Café, The Norsemen, Farmer’s Daughter, The Moose Café, Muskoka North Co-Op, Whimsical Bakery, The Spring Farmer and the High School culinary program.

Refreshments will include a variety of beers and select liquors, or guests can pair up food tastings with some fine wine selections from California, South Africa, Argentina and Canada’s Niagara Region.

All-inclusive tickets are only $65 if purchased before May 1. Get them at Treasures and Trophies on Main Street, Robinson’s Independent Grocer or at the Huntsville Chamber of Commerce office. They can also be purchased through a secure link online at the Festival web site or by calling the Festival office at 705-788-2787.
