The Town of Huntsville would like to notify residents that the South Lancelot Bridge is being replaced. Due to the age and condition of the existing structure the replacement project will commence Monday April 9, 2018. The new bridge will be two lanes wide compared to the existing single lane structure, and will be in the same location.
The Bridge will be closed throughout the construction project which is estimate to take several months and completed in the summer of 2018. During the closure, vehicular traffic will be detoured from civic address 304 onto North Lancelot Road.
Recognizing the importance of this thoroughfare the Town has taken measures to ensure that the duration of the closure is minimal. Should residents require additional information or have concerns related to the bridge replacement please contact Public Works at 705-789-5684 ext. 3821.
