Search warrant executed on Crescent Road finds marijuana

On Tuesday May 30, 2017 at approximately 9:30 a.m. members of the Muskoka Community Street Crime Unit along with Huntsville detachment members, Emergency Response Team (ERT) and the Orillia Community Street Crime Unit executed a Controlled Drugs and Substances Act search warrant at a business on Crescent Road in Huntsville.

Responding to a tip from the public regarding the indoor cultivation of Cannabis (marijuana) the members executed a Controlled Drugs and Substances Act search warrant. During the execution of the warrant police located and seized marijuana plants, dried Cannabis marijuana, paraphernalia associated with the production of Cannabis marijuana and documentation identifying those responsible.

The Muskoka Community Street Crime Unit continues to investigate this occurrence. Anyone with any information related to this occurrence is asked to contact Huntsville OPP or Crime Stoppers.

Police are asking anyone with information to contact the OPP at 705-789-5551 or call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS).   1. They have the illegal contraband and the documentation of those responsible. What more do they need, the public to go make a citizens arrest for them? Geez
