Santa’s helpers have arrived at Huntsville Hospital in the form of sweet holiday bakers.
Santa’s volunteer bakers, aka the Huntsville Hospital Auxiliary members and their friends, have been busy making homemade cookies and squares and they are available for purchase just in time for holiday season.
This fundraiser started a number of years ago and has increased in popularity over the years. The Auxiliary members and their recruited bakers contribute either four dozen cookies or four dozen squares. Store bought goodies are an absolute no-no.
The gift-wrapped trays contain 50 cookies or 40 squares and each cost $20.
This year’s pick up takes place on Friday, December 1. Tickets may be purchased in advance at the Branches Gift Shop located in the lobby of the Hospital. It is highly recommended that tickets be purchased in advance to avoid disappointment. Trays are available for pick up around 10 a.m. on December 1.
The Auxiliary hopes to sell 250 trays this year, raising $5,000 which is used to purchase equipment for Huntsville District Memorial Hospital.

Sharon McNally, Dr. Jan Goosens and Susan Love start loading up trays for last year’s sale.
