Santa Claus Parade takes place tonight, November 24

Santa and Mrs. Claus made a special appearance in Downtown Huntsville for the lighting of the Christmas tree in Kent Park last night. The Downtown BIA kicked off the festive season with carolers, decorations, and a beautiful tree.

Don’t forget Santa and his elves will parade down Huntsville’s Main Street tonight at 7 p.m., presented by the Rotary Club of North Muskoka.

The parade will travel from Main Street West at Lorne Street, along Main Street East and King William Street, to Huntsville Place Mall. Please anticipate the following road closures to accommodate the parade:

  • 5:00 pm to 7:45 pm – Main Street West from Yonge Street to Centre Street
  • 6:30 pm to 7:45 pm – Main Street East and King William Street from Centre Street to Huntsville Place Mall

Alternate routes for through traffic include Town Line Road West, West Road, or Highway 60.

The celebrations will continue throughout the weekend, with various activities taking place downtown.
