The Rotary Club of Hunstville presented the Huntsville Hospital Foundation with a $10,000 cheque this week as part of their ongoing commitment to healthcare in our community.
Rotary Huntsville has an extensive history of philanthropic giving with the Huntsville Hospital Foundation. Since 1988 they have donated more than $267,000 to support healthcare for life – here.
In 2004 they generously committed $100,000 towards the Day Surgery Campaign. The Day Surgery Consultation Room was renamed The Rotary Club of Huntsville Day Surgery Consultation Room in honor of their generous donation.
In 2014, Rotary Club of Hunstville entered into a multi-year pledge with the foundation, earmarking another $100,000 towards the Diagnostic Imaging and the CT Scanner. The CT scanner was installed in June 2014 as part of a $2,000,000 project at the Huntsville District Memorial Hospital. More than 7000 people have been through the Rotary Club of Huntsville CT waiting room.
