The Rotary Club of Huntsville has officially started a fundraising campaign for the Rotary Bandshell. They invite individuals, families and businesses to become part of this legacy project by purchasing a brick for the back wall of the bandshell in River Mill Park.
The wall will include four sizes of bricks:
4 x 8 – $100 (2 lines of text – 16 characters per line)
8 x 8 – $200 (4 lines of text – 16 characters per line)
12 x 12 – $500 (Logo possible and/or up to 6 lines of text – 16 characters per line)
16 x 16 – $1000 (Logo possible and/or up to 8 lines of text – 16 characters per line)
There are only twenty of the 16 x 16 superbricks available, eight of which have already been either reserved for large donors or spoken for to be purchased.
Construction on the bandshell began in early December when crews broke ground for the foundation. The remaining construction will be completed in the spring with an opening concert to be planned for May.
