Restructuring process at Town Hall has been completed

Town of Huntsville staff received the following update regarding the municipality’s restructuring initiative this week:

Effective immediately, Stephen Hernen will assume the permanent position of the Director of Operations and Protective Services. Mr. Hernen will also maintain his role as Fire Chief.

• Departments reporting through this Division include Roads/Fleet, Fire and Emergency Services, and Parks and Cemeteries
• Two new positions have been created within the Roads/Fleet Department: Manager of Roads/Fleet and Yard/Fleet Administrator. These positions will be posted for competition shortly.
• This completes the implementation of the Organization Review

The Organizational Structure on the Town’s website will be updated before the end of the week to reflect these highlights.
