Annual low-cost rabies clinics continue across Simcoe Muskoka in October and November.
The Huntsville clinic will be held on Sunday, November 25 from 11 a.m.-4 p.m. at Pet Valu (73 King William Street). Vaccinations are administered by Bridletowne Warden Animal Hospital.
The cost is $25 including HST. All dogs must be on a leash and cats restrained. All animals must be over three months of age. Costs are per animal and only cash will be accepted.
Dates, times and locations of other clinics in the region are listed on the Simcoe Muskoka District Health Unit’s website here.
Ensuring that your pet’s rabies vaccinations are up-to-date is the most effective way of preventing the disease. A quick check with your veterinarian will verify your pet’s status.
