The Huntsville/Lake of Bays Fire Department is ramping up preparations for the 27th annual Food Drive taking place December 2. The fire trucks are being washed and decorated and all our great help is being summoned. We will be out in full force starting at 6pm.
Watch and listen for the fire trucks as they go door to door to collect healthy nonperishable food items. Leave your porch light on and Santa, with help from fire departments and friends, will pick up your food donation. Food items that are collected during the food drive will be distributed within the community throughout the year.
Food donations may also be dropped off at the following locations: Huntsville Fire Hall Station #1, The Salvation Army, Port Sydney Fire Hall and the Lake of Bays Fire Halls.
Please donate healthy non-perishable food items and help to keep food on the tables for members of our community.
