Punchard rides to fourth in Crans-Montana World Cup

On Saturday, local athlete Cole Punchard made his country and family proud at the Men’s U23 XCO World Cup Crans-Montana in Switzerland.

It was 9 degrees and pouring rain, and 134 riders from around the world competed. Punchard rode to the finish line with the best five riders in his class. He came in fourth! (Watch race below).

Punchard heads to one more European race next week, then off to the Canadian Nationals at Kentville, Nova Scotia in mid-July to defend his 2023 Championship.
