Huntsville’s Cole Punchard has earned silver in the Men’s U23 Cross-Country Olympic (XCO) race at the 2025 UCI Mountain Bike World Championships in Switzerland!
Punchard skilfully completed the 8-lap course in 1:21:19, finishing just 54 seconds behind Swiss rider Finn Treudler.
Punchard rode the tough alpine course, negotiating fast descents and steep climbs, and secured his first XCO world championship medal! Â
His most recent win follows a bronze in the U23 Short Track (XCC) in Zermatt, Switzerland, making Canada proud.
