Planning ahead can help you manage grief and necessary arrangements after someone dies

Being as prepared as possible for eventual death—both our own and that of our loved ones—can help to make a challenging time a little bit easier.

A free seminar being held next week aims to help you do just that.

Three speakers will be at the free Being Prepared Made Simple seminar on Tuesday, April 23, 2019.

Local author of Love Your Life to Death, Yvonne Heath, will provide information on grief support.

Steven Lavigne, a Huntsville-based financial planner, and Tyler Shannik, funeral preplanning specialist, will share their expertise about financial planning, trusts, probate fees, making funeral arrangements, and ensuring your wishes are honoured.

The seminar is being hosted by Billingsley Funeral Home at the Huntsville Legion on Tuesday,  April 23, 2019 at 5 p.m. A complimentary dinner will be available.

Space is limited. To reserve your spot, call 705-789-8982 or email [email protected]

  1. I hope Hospice Huntsville will be mentioned and even encouraged. They provide the most helpful and supportive grief support in the safest most confidential, kind and sharing environment.I know this from experience. Both group and individual support is available. There is no cost but it is priceless!
